The divorce attorneys at Saltzgiver & Boyle Family Law Attorneys are dedicated to providing personalized service to each client, and a tailored approach to each case. We work diligently to craft a strategy that takes into account all aspects of a client’s case. Our law firm has established relationships with experienced and reputable accountants, business evaluators, and actuaries to help us prepare the strongest case possible for you, whether or not your case involves complex matters and significant assets.

A History of Distinction

Long before we became Saltzgiver & Boyle, our firm was founded as Meyers & Desfor in 1967 by Bruce D. Desfor. A respected presence in the community, Attorney Desfor was the only lawyer in Pennsylvania to serve as President of the Trial Lawyers Association and as a Fellow with the American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML).

Originally, our law firm handled a wide variety of litigation issues, including personal injury cases. In 1980, when Pennsylvania passed the No-Fault Divorce Code, Mr. Desfor was President of the Trial Lawyers Association. In that capacity, Mr. Desfor visited each of the Bar Associations in each of the 67 counties in Pennsylvania and taught seminars to the local lawyers on the new Divorce Code. This event changed the nature of our law practice. Today, we focus exclusively on Family Law and closely related matters, helping families throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

A Warm Welcome to our Historic Law Office

Housed in an historical residence that dates back to 1822, our office is located virtually in the shadow of the State Capitol and the Courts. With a striking two-and-one-half story atrium roofed over with transparent domes, the building has become a symbol of the enduring nature of our law practice. Clients and visitors are always assured a warm welcome.
